Visited 'bare ass beach' on Twin Lake for the first time ever today on August 1st just after Noon. And guess what? No nude people, everyone was wearing something. About 25+ people there maybe including walking North from the beach up to the fence. So I wasted my trip up there just to confirm this is not really a nude beach. I was very skeptical about this place, and now I've confirmed my doubts. So why is it called 'bare ass beach'? Maybe nudity is extremely rare here? Or that was many years ago? Or the cops cracked down and now everyone is afraid to get nude? I guess I have no idea. But I have no intention of ever going back there ever again as I think it would just be another wasted and disappointing trip. I had done some very through research on this beach and worked with AI to decide that the weekend at this time of day would be the best time to visit and hopefully find it busy with a more younger crowd. It sounds like weekdays were less likely to find nude sunbathers from what I could gather, but maybe Google AI is wrong? I don't know what to believe about what I've heard about this beach. I just know my experience of it was very disappointing. There's plenty of beaches a lot closer to home for me than this so there's really no point in driving all that way just to find the same thing I would at any other beach anywhere else in Minnesota.
